Camp Pembroke

Camp Pembroke, located on a quiet and safe cove on Lake Oldham in Pembroke, MA, offers a time-tested opportunity for Jewish girls to discover the joy and camaraderie of an all girls' camp - and discover the best within themselves and the bond they share with their Jewish heritage. Pembroke's warm, encouraging, atmosphere of fun and friendship is guided by the Jewish environment in which it exists. We are especially proud to have celebrated our 74th season of successful Jewish camping in 2008. Four generations of young women have grown up in the Pembroke family and become wonderful role models, both personally and professionally, for future generations of Pembroke women and the Jewish community as a whole.

Over 300 girls each session (over 450 total) call Pembroke home each summer; living in a horseshoe of white cabins that faces the lake. In this unique environment, they are free from the self-consciousness that so often accompanies co-ed living. Girls can be themselves: they can go to breakfast in their pajamas, play sports, develop the arts, and still have the excitement of inter-camp dances. Pembroke offers a swimming pool, horseback riding, and ice skating in addition to its variety of other land, water and arts programs - both traditional and more innovative.
